Royal Pizza is a beloved local establishment that has been delighting Edmonton residents for over fifty years. Founded in 1969 by Gus Pappas and John Pontikes, the restaurant became famous for its generously topped pizzas. In 1995, Mike and Cynthia Hanley took over, maintaining the commitment to quality that customers have come to expect. Today, Ryan and Kyle DeCoursey continue the tradition, proudly serving the community with passion and dedication.
Now boasting 25 locations across Alberta and Saskatchewan, Royal Pizza remains a family-focused business. Their community involvement includes supporting local charities such as the Edmonton Food Bank and Breast Cancer Research. Through generations, Royal Pizza has built a reputation for excellence, ensuring every meal delivers on taste and quality. The strong relationships with their customers and franchise owners are key to their ongoing success and local ties.
